Not all of our custom orders are for shipping, storage or moving purposes. One of our clients needed something that was inexpensive and durable enough to protect their product as it is moving down the assembly line. They were getting scuffing damage on the edges from the items bumping into each other. Along with durability, the solution needed to be portable, as it would be returned to the beginning of the assembly line for the next item.
Our engineers devised a simple but effective solution. A double-wall corrugated pad was sized, scored and folded. It was then glued to a hard chipboard angle. This provided the rigidity needed to allow the corrugated pad to protect the height of the item on the assembly line.
