Replacement Oven Door Protection

Our client needed to ship a heavy replacement oven door. The glass could be broken and the door itself could be dented if not protected during transit. Also, the metal hinge that would attach the door to the oven had to remain suspended so that it would not become bent or damaged in any way.

The BoxGeek engineers created a multi-part protection scheme for the oven door. We sized and scored two corrugated pads and attached heavy-duty foam to suspend the door away from the outer box. We then made a custom sized double-wall DST (Design Style Tray) bottom box to place the entire assembly in. We placed a fitted double-wall DST top over that and secured the entire package for shipping.
